i absolutely LOVE Birdnest.That's why im dedicating a post to Birdnest. HAHA~ Was allegic to it when i was younger but i think i outgrew the allergy. YAY! (^~^V) Started eating them again in May after my doctor said i could try it again. I was quite sick with flu and cough due to my weak lungs because of Asthma. Almost 2 months of birdnest~ TADAH! I'm getting better na~ less flu and cough!

I have always heard from Chinese doctors that Birdnest is good for the lungs. And all the Aunties always say Birdnest is good for the skin. I googled and read up on Birdnest. Some info that went into my brain:
-Strengthen lungs, kidney, heart.
-Prevents Cancer.
-Younger fairer skin.
-Cures Asthma, cough and flu.

I recently went shopping for my monthly supply of Birdnest~ instead of sticking to the 1 i have been eating since May, I decided to try every brand i can find just for the fun of it na. Here's my short self-entertainment purpose Birdnest review~

This is the 1 I stuck to so far. I split every bottle into 3 servings. Every1 tells me New Moon has the best Birdnest and the plus point is it comes in a bottle with a whole birdnest in it. Makes me tingle in excitement whenever i open a new bottle. I dont know why, i just feel super happy to see it whole at the start i think. haha! ((o>~"<)


Brands. The smallest sized bottle from my entire stash. The Birdnest taste is slightly mild. Also because of the small serving, not very shiok in the morning na. I finish it in like 3 mouths.


Yu Ren Sheng.(hope the spelling's correct) Im super attracted to it by the pinky-red packaging. Serving size is okay and enjoyable. However, Im not sure why, but whenever i open the bottle, drops of it drips out from the cap. No matter how careful i was, it drips every morning, every bottle i opened so far. (T~T) I shall go figure out why, maybe its not my fault and its just the packaging's fault na.


I have no idea what brand this is. Its the worst birdnest I ate. It has ginseng and white fungus and rock sugar in it, the others only had rock sugar. The taste is just weird. The weirdness is not from the ginseng i can confirm that. It has this very stale taste to it, like its kept for very long and that alot of preservative and chemicals was dumped into it. Its just really bad. AND i didnt find any birdnest at all, it was all chopped up white fungus. Terrible experience, my mood was totally low. (-~-)

Thats all that i bought~ shall go search for others when i go Birdnest shopping again~. I still prefer NewMoon to the rest so its no.1. my 2nd choice will be YuRenSheng, followed by Brands. The last 1 doesnt even get a spot, I wont even consider it na. Im done entertaining myself. Time to head to bed~
